WILL BENNETT ART & DESIGN
As a keyboardist and guitarist, I've played in a number of bands and met good friends and colleagues in various music scenes. Through these connections I've had the opportunity to illustrate artwork for album and single releases for my band The Diz, Westpark, funk outfit Turtle Logic, and producer Killah Cortez among many others.

EVENT POSTERS
As promotion for upcoming concerts and shows, performers will reach out to me to create flyers and posters with an illustration and the event's information. If you live in the greater San Diego area, you might recognize my work from some of our finest lamp posts.
EVENT POSTERS
Entering my senior year of high school, I was hired by Sink/Swim Press to illustrate the first issue of The Savage Lyrics, a sci-fi Western story surrounding a post-apocalyptic town. Over the course of two years, I pencilled, inked, and colored two thirty page issues while also finalizing the typography and layout of the book.

As a child, I was deeply captivated by comic books, and that passion has stayed with me throughout my career. I've had the opportunity to work as an artist on a series for an independent publisher, while the styles and storytelling techniques from comic books continue to inspire and influence my work in all areas.
As a senior in high school, I was hired to create a four-page comic as an advertisement for the international consulting firm Ippon Technologies.

THE DAILY CALIFORNIAN
In my sophomore year at Berkeley, I interviewed for and was hired by the student-run newspaper The Daily Californian as an illustrator. In this position, I created weekly illustrations for articles of various topics, working with the writers to develop a concept and produce a finished piece under a 24-hour deadline.
PNAS ARTWORK
An artistic representation of a Maxwell Lattice as commissioned by Nicholas Boechler's mechanical engineering lab at UC San Diego. The artwork was submitted along with the lab's paper in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).
I have experience creating illustrations for editorial content, where I focus on translating complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals. My work aims to complement and enhance written narratives, making them more accessible and engaging for readers.
